Windows: Slider tooltips malformed on W10
Last modified: 2018-08-20 11:45:48 UTC
Created attachment 691 [details] malformed W10 slider tooltip Testing on audacity-macosx-r10f77bc-2.1.3-alpha-29-jun-16 build on Mac that Gale built for me - and on audacity-win-rdab59cb-2.1.3-alpha-02-jul-16. On both platforms the slider tooltips are difffent to the other tooltips - they have rounded corners instead of square abd theu have a yellowish tinge - I assume this is intemtional On Mac they appear to be the same as in 2.1.2 But nn W10 there is a regression versus 2.1.2. There is a bolder edge at the top and left and there is a gap at the bottom right - see attachment. Its the same for all three sliders.

Bumping this - beacause as a regression it really should be fixed for 2.1.3 Added James (as 2.1.3 RM) to the CC list.
These tooltips had unrounded corners on Windows until 2.1.2. The tooltip edges look clean on Ubuntu 14.04. It seems a cosmetic problem that does not affect understanding or obscure the values so I think P4 seems reasonable.
I've gotten used to these - and there have been no complaints on the Forum so (as the originator of this bug) I will close this as WONTFIX
