Bugzilla – Bug 1582
Incorrect level shown in Mixer Board meter when track has positive gain
Last modified: 2019-08-02 05:00:16 UTC
If track gain is reduced below 0 dB, the level displayed in the Mixer Board meter for that track is reduced (as expected), but if the gain is increased above 0 dB the level displayed does not increase.

(In reply to James Crook from comment #1) Testing on W10 with audacity-2.3.3-alpha-299-0bdb09eefb256ec8e378c22ba140a12110e5afad This now works properly on W10 - at Step 4 the lecel properly increases in the Mixer Board. Also tested that changes made on the mixer board both up and down reflect correctly in the TCP. And while I was about it I also similarly tested the pan controls - all OK
Testing on macOS 10.14.5 with mac 2.3.3 alpha jc004 of 25Jul19 As with Windows this now works properly on Mac - at Step 4 the lecel properly increases in the Mixer Board. Also tested that changes made on the mixer board both up and down reflect correctly in the TCP. And while I was about it I also similarly tested the pan controls - all OK
James has marked this as single platform test OK - so as test properly in Win and Mac I shall close this
