Steps To Reproduce:
! Download and double-click the DMG (treated as an "installer" for purposes of selecting the bug component here, even though it strictly isn't an installer). 2 The instructions in the DMG window say "Drag the Audacity folder to the Applications shortcut" despite there is no folder now that the contents are bundled in the app.

Not sure when this was fixed, but it is indeed fixed.
The message now says:
"Drag the Audacity.app icon to the Application shortcut", which is correct.

It looks like I fixed that, Feb 19th 2017 with this commit:

A subsequent commit by Pokechu updated the Audacity logo.
