Steps To Reproduce:
New project. Generate sound. Create a label for part of the duration. Crtl+A to select all. Pick the label and hit Enter. (Now only the label duration is selected.) Delete. Undo. Selection reverts to everything -- not as it should to the labelled region only.

Thanks. Tested with Sync-Lock on/off, overlapped labels and undoing deletion of a label that corresponded to the entire track.
