Steps To Reproduce:
1) default settings - clear the .cfg files 2) record some audio (Stereo or Mono) 3) right click in the Vertical Scale 4) VS shrinks to a thin band - looks as though there are no numbers to display (at that zoom level) I'm thinking 5) right click in VS again VS expands ok with numbers 6) right click in VS again VS expands ok with numbers And then another odd thing 7) left click in VS 8) returns immediately to default vertical zoom level

Description Peter Sampson 2017-06-22 09:22:09 UTC
1) default settings - clear the .cfg files
2) record some audio (Stereo or Mono)
3) right click in the Vertical Scale
4) VS shrinks to a thin band - looks as though there are no numbers to display (at that zoom level) I'm thinking
5) right click in VS again VS expands ok with numbers
6) right click in VS again VS expands ok with numbers

And then another odd thing

7) left click in VS
8) returns immediately to default vertical zoom level

I thought it was supposed to step back up the zoom levels one level at a time ???

Step 4 looks odd and unsettling - step 8 looks wrong

On 2.1.3 you can't even do steps 5 & 6 as there appears to be only one level of zoom down.

Steve confirms broken on Linux too.

I can't test an Mac as the latest "night;ly" I have is 21May17 (the last one posted) and this build does not display this bug, which implies it has been introduced in the past four weeks or so.

But assume all three platforms.

Tests OK on W1 audacity-win-rde70727-2.2.0-alpha-23-jun-17

I can't test on Mac as the latest "nightly" is long ago on 21May17

Tests ok on my Macbook Pro 68dfdab8 23Jun17

Tested on Stereo and mono tracks - whicj anly allow the single level ok.

Tests ok on Note Tracks where multipe right clicks are allowed and take proper effect.
