Steps To Reproduce:
1 Generate a 30s tone 2 Select 10s to 20 s 3 Tracks > Remove Tracks 4 Region 10s to 20s still selected on Timeline so Generate > Tone generates from 10s instead of 0s unless you realise you have to click on the timeline and hit HOME to correct this

Tracks > Remove Tracks should reset cursor to 0s as clicking [X] on the Track Panel does.

RESOLVED - FIXED . Tested with audio, label and note tracks. Also checked to see that the cursor or selection remains if not removing all the tracks. 

(Time Tracks cannot be removed on their own as per bug 240).
