Bugzilla – Bug 1842
Tracks > Remove Tracks with no tracks or audio selected gives meaningless message
Last modified: 2018-08-20 11:45:49 UTC
The error message that you get when attempting to use Tracks>Remove Tracks with no tracks or audio selected is meaningless and inaccurate. it states: >Disallowed >There was a problem with your last action, if you think >this is a bug, please tell us exactly where this occurred. a) this is not a bug b) we should really tell the user something useful i.e. that they should select a track or tracks before using this command c) compare this to other commands in the Tracks menu wher the user is told >Disallowed >You must first select some audio to perform this action. >(Selecting other kinds of track won't work.) but note that that final line will not apply to Remove Tracks (as other track types can be Removed when selected d) note that this error message has no "?" help button to link to the Manual (this appears to be common to all Tracks menu commands (I will log that as a separate bug.

Looks good on MacOS 10.13.3.
Tested on W10 on a build that Steve provided 15Feb18 - looks fine
