Bugzilla – Bug 2181
Time-shifting multiple sync-locked tracks can corrupt the selection and clock icons

Created attachment 844 [details] Stranded clocks and selection after time-shifting tracks Time-shifting multiple sync-locked tracks can corrupt the selection and clock icons - but only when the cursor is over a non-selected (clock-iconed) track. It works properly if you drag a selected track (can be one of multiple selected tracks. This was originally reported as a residual of Bug #2176
Steve and David discussed this on email on the Quality list - we decided this was "designed behavior" (I still think it looks most odd) - marked as CLOSED NOTABUG Steve wrote: >The steps to reproduce: >1) get multiple audio tracks >2) turn on sync-lock >2) select just one of them >3) use the time shift tool over a non-selected track >4) Observe: the clock icons and the Timeline "selection" remain where they > previously. > >Isn't that the correct behaviour? >That appears to be the same in Audacity 2.2.1. > >Where does "corruption" come into this?
