1 New Project, generate 30s tone 2 click at 10s, or drag a selection from 10s to 20s 3 Edit > Region Restore 4 Selection/cursor point destroyed (move to time zero)

Impossible to recover selection as not undoable. 

I suggest since this is a clipboard-like function, Region Restore is greyed out until a region has been saved. Probably not necessary to then add it to Undo history, as moving the selection isn't normally added.

r11935 has the fix for this bug, derived from the patch by Gaurav Agarwal.
