Undocking meter toolbars wile playing/recording results in a frozen meter.

This can easily be rectified by clicking in the meter (which is what I guess a lot of folk would try).

For playback, just pressing Play again will reactivate the meter.

This affects both Win and Mac s0 assume all platforms


On W10 this is a regression on 2.1.1 (I cannot do much regression testing on Mac as Catalina will not run 320bit apps) - P2 for the regression, rather than P1, as the workaround is simple.

An undocked meter also gets frozen if you move its undocked position while playing/recording

Testing on W10 shows this freezing when moving an undocked floating meter is also a regression on 2.1.1

So we have had this for a very long time with no user (or QA tester reports) - so I think this can stay at P2

In addition to clicking in the meter to reactivate it you can just pass your cursor over the meter (maybe this is why folk have not noticed or reported)

Testing on W10 and macOS 10.15.5 with Audacity 2.4.2 419e152

Now works fine on both platforms.

Tested

a) undocking Playback meter while Playing

b) undocking Recording meter while Recording
