Description Peter Sampson 2021-01-14 10:00:23 UTC
If you have a project with an imported MP3 that has Unicode characters in its tag metadata you save that project - that project cannot be reopened.

P1 due to the loss of data.

--------------------------------------------------------

Also note that the error message
>Error Opening Project
>Unable to parse project information

has a "?" help button - bit that goes to this Manual page
https://alphamanual.audacityteam.org/man/FAQ:Errors_on_opening_or_recovering_an_Audacity_project

This Manual page is really the hangover from AUP projects and in particular has nothing about this particular error.
