Steps To Reproduce:
1. Generate tone and add some labels 2. Click in an arbitrary place in the waveform and Edit > Split. Do that another three times. 3. Double-click between the split lines and generate DTMF to make the clips easy to see 4. Select All 5. Effect > Reverse 6. The clips will reverse but the labels won't * When fixed, repeat 1 - 5 to make sure clip reversal still works * Repeat 1- 5, but select only a part of the audio and label track at step 4 * Repeat the test but generate two tones at step 1. First run the test by selecting both tones and the label track, then by selecting one tone and the label track

Description Richard Ash 2009-10-30 14:29:47 UTC
* GA: Leads to loss of association between boundaries and original audio, and
loss of audio if the clips were separated by white space. See this thread.
* GA: Much improved patch by Vidyashankar Vellal has been committed, not yet
fully re-tested by me. MJS found it does not reverse a label if all tracks are
selected (including the label track) and linking is off.

No longer in wiki Release Checklist as of 29th Jan 2010.
Comment 2 James Crook 2010-01-29 14:21:45 UTC
Reopened as a lower priority bug. This used to be about clip boundaries. The residual issue is that labels are not moved by the reverse effect. (NB we want the start and end times to change, but do not expect MyLabel to become lebaLyM)
Comment 3 Gale Andrews 2010-01-31 10:22:23 UTC
Fixed as per bug title on Windows and Linux, following tests in "Steps to reproduce." Needs testing on Mac.

Residual bug remains where after reverse, each label is increasingly pushed down to the bottom of the label track, so that labels after the original third are invisible except for the vertical edge.

Residual 'stacking' bug now fixed too.

'''GA:'''' Will call fixed as soon as the total fixes are checked on Mac. Have asked BW again if he can do this.
Comment 6 Gale Andrews 2010-02-24 19:02:59 UTC
(In reply to comment #5) BW confirms all behaviour correct on OS X.
